It fosters and supports the exchange of information, knowledge and technical resources among organizations and social movements, while seeking to promote the interaction of initiatives and projects through the effective use of information and communication technologies (ICTs). The online RITS Catalog and Database provides a transparent access of information for more than 40,000 organizations, people and projects, including over 1,500 texts, reviews, essays, dissertations, and other similar publications written by experts from diverse fields and backgrounds. With this wealth and variety of material available online, the RITS website is a reliable source of support for the third sector organizations as they undergo a historical transformation and maturation process in Brazil.
