Run by the non-profit organization Babel International and supported by an extensive network of local teams composed of both professional staff and amateur contributors, Café Babel is an interactive website which brings to light issues salient to European integration. Its target public is the emerging generation of young Europeans who have lived throughout the EU, for whom the question of integration is not only political or economic, but social, cultural, and personal as well. Café Babel is working to create a participatory online environment for a pan-European public.
