GPMP research investigates online public media or citizen media and Internet freedom in countries around the world in terms of their contributions to the local/national public sphere and impact upon social reform and public policy. The project uses local cultural knowledge and language expertise to provide contexualized insight into social and cultural use of the Internet in societies included in the study. Results can be accessed on this site in the near future.
