Jason Kass Project Coordinator: Jason Kass
Mr. Kass is pursuing a Masters of Arts in International Relations at American University's School of International Service. He received his B.A. in International Relations with a dual minor in International Economics and Theater from Wheaton College in Norton, Massachusetts. His current studies is in the field of Comparative and Regional studies focusing on Asia, specifically China.  

Andrew Dumm Project Assistant: Andrew Dumm  

Mr. Dumm is pursuing a Masters of Arts in International Relations at American University's School of International Service. He received his B.A. in Foreign Affairs with a minor in Middle Eastern Studies/Arabic from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia. He was also a Fulbright Fellow to Jordan where he attended Yarmouk University in Irbid and carried out research on emerging forms of arab news media, specifically digital and citizen journalism. Currently, he is continuing his regional focus with a program in the field of Comparative and Regional studies concentrating on the Middle East.

 
       

 
Kate Goodwin Project Associate: Kate Goodwin
Ms. Goodwin is pursuing a doctorate in International Relations at American University’s School of International Service. Her undergraduate work in French and Policy Studies was done both at Rice University in Houston, Texas and at Sciences-Po in Paris, France. Her current research is in the field of International Communications and focuses on environmental information flows. Convinced that the “personal is international” (to quote Cynthia Enloe), she is particularly interested in conceptualizing information flows in a way that revalorizes the private sphere and interpersonal interactions.

 
Ameen Sanad Web Developer: Ameen Sanad
Mr. Sanad is pursuing an M.A. in International Affairs, with a focus on International Economic Relations at American University's School of International Service in Washington D.C. Prior to starting his masters program, Ameen worked for various organizations in Yemen, his home country, such as the United Nations Population Fund, Social Fund for Development, and Yemen LNG Company Ltd. Ameen has a lot of interests in and expeience in web development, and above all, has more interests in learning about the role in online media in shaping today's world.

 
Charlotte Moser Project Development: Charlotte Moser

Charlotte Moser was founding Manager of Global Online Communities at the Development Gateway, an Internet for development initiative launched by the World Bank in 2000.  In this capacity, she has been a presenter at the First World Congress on Communication for Development in Rome, the GuideStar International Assembly in London, and the UN Alliance for ICT and Development in Geneva. Formerly an award-winning print journalist and editor, she has written about building Internet capacity for indigenous cultures and online journalism for World Press Freedom Day.  Charlotte is currently a multilateral policy assistant for the World Conservation Union (IUCN) based in Washington, D.C.
